The Boston Bruins were beaten by the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight, 2 - 1. What the heck is going on with the Bruins? Not only did they lose the game tonight, but, for the first time in over fifty years, they lost on Leafs ice during the playoffs.
Boston held a 3 - 1 series lead (out of a best-of-seven). All they had to do was win one game, just one, before Toronto won three. The series is now tied at three wins each.
So I guess what we're looking at is me in a bad mood come this time tomorrow night (I heard that the final game is Monday).
Should Toronto dispatch Boston, you really don't want to read my next few blog postings... just kidding, it's only a game. (I'll keep telling myself that as I try to fall asleep tonight; hmm, if I'm smart I'll pull out the Lorazepam tomorrow evening, just in case....)
