I've barely even heard of Kanye West, so how can he be the biggest rock star on the planet? (I admit that I hardly follow rock or pop music these days. Bring me back real rock and pop and stars.)
My guess, however uneducated, tells me that Mr. West has quite the astronomical ego. ("Measures, my God, over two A.U.'s in diameter. Must be something incredible inside there....")
The Toronto Star article, where I heard of this bit of news, has a warning in regards to the embedded video...

Are you freaking kidding me? As a much smarter man than myself stated (on more than one occasion): Kanye West is a jackass (www.mtv.com/news/articles/1682994/obama-kanye-west-jackass.jhtml)! Not to mention, he wouldn't know (a) rock if it hit him in the head (which some people dearly wish it would). I mean; who names their kid after an English-Irish pop boy band?
I awoke this morning to the news that Jimmy Kimmel and Kayne West are going at it... mainly because West took offence to a skit on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. (No doubt you know this already; it makes for great disposable news-headlines for a Friday morning.)
