DUDLEY SIMPSON'S THEME FOR BLAKE'S 7

Australian composer Dudley Simpson wrote some smashing themes for British SF telly: The Tomorrow People (which I've blogged about before), and, of course, Blake's 7.

As released on 7" vinyl record...

And here is the music as recorded and mixed for the opening titles to Blake's 7...

The composer is still alive at 91 years of age; and back living in his native Australia...

Five posts on Blake's 7, yet not one sentence in your own words about what the show is about, and why you like it? I'd rather read what you have to say, than watch a Youtube clip. This isn't a show like Star Trek, where most everyone knows what it's about even without having seen it.

... to come, sir. That has not been forgotten by me.

There is time and space for more.

If you reread those "Five posts" you'll find that they contain much information, and personal perspective; not just Youtube clips/links.

Thanks for your comment!
