I watched a bit of a documentary last night on TVO about the late British singer-songwriter Nick Drake. The biggest revelation for me was the fact that actress Gabrielle Drake is his sister. I had no idea.Admittedly, I do not know that much about the actual person who played the purple-haired moonbase worker from the 1970-71 Gerry Anderson television series UFO, so this must be why that interesting tidbit got by my scanners.
(I used to watch UFO, in first run, on CTV way back in the Autumn of 1970. A creepy and effective series to an impressionable kiddie. I am aware that Ms. Drake appeared years later on the infamous British TV soap Crossroads.)
